IT IS ESTIMATED THAT THE NUMBER OF CHILDREN AT RISK OR ALREADY PULLED INTO THE SEX TRADE WORLD WOULD FILL 1,300 SCHOOL BUSES.

At just 14, Maria didn’t believe in rescue. Sold by someone she trusted, she was trapped in a world too dark for words. Every day blurred into the next—fear, pain, silence. She stopped hoping anyone would come.
But someone did.
Thanks to people like you, trained advocates recognized the signs. Law enforcement intervened. Maria was rescued. She was given a warm bed, counseling, and—slowly—a reason to smile again. She learned she was not what had happened to her. She was worthy. She was loved.
Today, Maria dreams of becoming a nurse. She wants to help others heal—just like she is healing.

OUR FOCUS IS ON PREVENTION
It Is Well Ministries exists to increase awareness of sexual abuse exploitation and trafficking by educating parents and children on the importance of protecting themselves from predators and helping bring healing to those who have already been abused.
DANCING WITH THE DOVE
The heart behind the ministry of It Is Well (stateside) is to prevent child sexual abuse and to bring healing and restoration to those who have already been victimized.
We hope by teaching identity, value, and worth to young girls, they will recognize abuse and hopefully be able to stop it or report it.

THE FACT IS…
The sex trade is the fastest growing international crime network that the world has ever seen. And soon it’s going to pass the drug trade.
NOT A NUMBER CERTIFIED FACILITATORS
MEETING THE NEEDS OF our YOUTH
Not A Number moves beyond the traditional “information deficit” model and instead encourages peer-to-peer prevention, as youth often confide in one another before alerting an adult. It motivates youth to advocate for themselves and others through an environment that fosters mutual support. It establishes a safe and respectful space for youth and adults to have open and informed dialogue necessary for effective prevention.
It prepares youth to navigate content specific to their experiences as young people, including recognizing how the internet and social media can be used by traffickers, questioning the cultural norms created by media, reducing risky behavior in physical and digital setting, and identifying the characteristics of healthy and unhealthy relationships.
